The city of Pharr, Texas, continues to grow and it is thanks to the initiative of entrepreneurs who keep investing in the region, stated Joaquin Spamer, President of CIL Capital, during the presentation of the progress on Queenstown Park. This project is a 142,600 square-foot warehouse designed to facilitate the logistics operations of businesses. It features the capacity to park up to 120 tractor-trailers, in addition to 69 loading and unloading docks, which will allow more than 200 units on the property, reducing the risk of accidents and increasing both entry and exit capacity.

“The building has 142,600 square feet, with 69 docks. This is called a cross-dock. The most important aspect of the building’s design is that we have the capacity to park 120 tractors with trailers,” explained Spamer.

This infrastructure will enable unloading a truck in less than 20 minutes and loading it in under 30 minutes, reducing costs and improving the efficiency of logistics operators.

The event was attended by key figures, including business leaders and authorities from the Pharr International Bridge, as well as representatives from Pharr Economic Development, whom Spamer thanked for their continued support and investment in the development of Pharr and the entire Rio Grande Valley region.

“The development of the region depends on us, the entrepreneurs. The EDC team needs us to do what we need to do. We have highly competent people who are betting on the city, building new buildings,” he stated.

The project, with a final investment of around $24 million, is expected to be completed within five months, with a current progress of 25 per cent.
